Our Story
FishMart was founded in 2020 by a team of passionate seafood enthusiasts who recognized the challenges in Kenya's fish supply chain. We saw how difficult it was for consumers to access fresh, high-quality fish while fishermen struggled to reach markets beyond their immediate communities.
What started as a small initiative to connect Lake Victoria fishermen with Nairobi restaurants has grown into Kenya's leading online fish marketplace. Today, we serve thousands of customers across the country while supporting hundreds of local fishermen and fish farmers.

FishMart founded with a small team connecting 5 Lake Victoria fishermen to restaurants in Nairobi.
